Fachada alcornoque Real 6-14-R 7 Fachada alcornoque Real 1/28 SINGLE FAMILY HOME PUEBLA DE LA CALZADA, BADAJOZ For several years, the rapid territorial expansion in the town of Puebla de la Calzada has given rise to the early appearance of new neighborhoods crammed with homes, making this milestone a key piece to take into account in the design of this project. . The next house will be the first stone in the way of creating a new neighborhood that, due to its location, stands on the front page when accessing the town, giving special importance to take into account in the design of the house. . Thus, the building is conceived as a constructive and visual banner that guides the other buildings that manage to create a neighborhood and, therefore, activity. The house has a ground floor that houses daytime uses, where the living room, kitchen, and bathrooms follow one another with a certain permeability and are focused on a friendly patio that gives light and relief to the whole. On the upper floor, the night stays are created with the privacy that bedrooms and bathrooms require, all of them exterior and focused on experimentation of which as places of full rest and disconnection, since the peace and tranquility of the adjoining area lends itself thereto. All the spaces in the house, from the moment it is accessed, are participants in a route with sufficient permeability so that they are not segregated rooms, but rather belong to a set of spaces with ease and versatility. . This route was the organizing axis in the design of the house, because from the moment it is accessed, a spacious double-height living room - dining room allows us to generate a visible staircase that speaks and defends the permeability of the property, in addition to guiding us to the ground floor. superior, where a terrace gives foot and meaning to the distributor of said floor, totally undoing the corridor effect and gives a friendly step when accessing this floor. . The building-outdoor patio connection is perceived in a very fluid way, where the exit from the kitchen lands on a generous porch protected with an exposed concrete flight focused on controlling the solar incidence. The patio is designed with total transparency because, despite housing a covered parking lot, the client is given a certain versatility to inhabit it and take possession of it in the way they prefer, because due to its size it is quite affordable for several options. . In short, the house is conceived as a large interiorly versatile and permeable space, but with a powerful exterior presence that sets typological guidelines regarding the building growth of the new neighborhood of the town. .

Recurso 1 3d-01 6 Recurso 1 1/11 30 HOUSES TORNEO STREET, SEVILLE Probably, one of the most relevant and ancient task of the architect is the creation of houses, since cities are formed from these. Likewise, the trends have been affecting the way of projection of the dwellings, that is, the different typologies that have appeared. The slightest modification in the conception of a private space, once we think that everything is already invented, provides us with a world of new possibilities. The PGOU study shows that in the historic center of Seville there is an aging population, being the sector with the lowest number of inhabitants, where there are many small houses with a shortage of play areas, lack of quality in their squares and scarcity of community life. Larger houses are needed, for families, with areas where they can carry out common activities and suitable for collective life. We are in a historical area where almost all the parcels and blocks have an uneven, inconsistent shape, with overhangs and a multitude of patios that enliven the interior of the buildings. An area therefore that attempts to turn to the outside of its buildings whenever possible, seeking to make the most of the façade and views of the landscape. . Thus, on the banks of the Guadalquivir river and with Torneo Street as a witness, the collective housing is erected that arises as a response to the existing empty lot and with a view to generating a powerful and serious building that helps to generate that facade with views of the river and that formally contributes to the appearance and urban activity. The building is nourished by the natural unevenness of the site to build a garage for housing, with optimal use of the parking spaces, which is why the main entrance is also located from Guadalquivir street, freeing the facade of Torneo Street. to the enjoyment of the homes. A total of seven exterior houses are projected towards the river, taking advantage of the views and light, natural elements that promote the enjoyment of the house. Inside, the building is made up of houses with one, two, three and up to four rooms with different types that add variety and dynamism to the whole building. The homes have generous spaces in which, through interior patios, the home is made to breathe, providing light and ventilation to it, with formal gestures not very common in VPO homes, complemented by a large patio of entrance that is born under the juxtaposition of galleries that allow a fluid circulation towards the houses and common spaces. Outside, a pure and clean façade gives the building that contemporary character where the openings are designed taking into account the immediate presence of the Guadalquivir, Calle Torneo and, in general, the intense urban activity in Seville.

DSC_0083 DSC_0084 5 DSC_0083 1/11 POOLS + THERMALS PLAZA DE ARMAS, SEVILLE For some time now, various urban organizations and associations have emphasized the great lack of public swimming pools in the city of Seville, with numbers far below the premises indicated for any city. In fact, for decades, even before Expo'92, it has been one of the most constant demands made by citizens in all districts of Seville, and to which there has hardly been a solution from the City Council: public swimming pools to be able to to cope with the many months of strong heat, and to have a public facility favorable to adults and children, where, for example during the school holidays at the end of June, July, August and the first half of September, to be able to exercise, refresh and socialize. Some devastating data appear: in the city there are only four public swimming pools, those of Rochelambert, Alcosa, Tiro de Línea and Torreblanca, with 1,275 places available per day for a total population, that of Seville, which is around 700,000 inhabitants. In other words, there is one swimming pool for every 175,000 inhabitants, which is a ratio much higher than that recommended by the Higher Sports Council, for which the ideal is one center for every 27,679 inhabitants. If that recommendation is followed, Seville should have more than 25 pools. Almost all Spanish municipalities, large or small, have a better average of public swimming pools per number of inhabitants, data that collide with the thermal condition of the city, being one of the hottest in the country. . In the midst of this panorama of uncertainty and necessity, the following intervention was born, where the idea of the provision of aquatic equipment stands as the central axis of the proposal. The project is developed mainly on 3 levels connected to each other, annexing the three different levels that define the city's fluvial condition: city level, river walk level, and river level, achieving fluid accessibility that provides proximity to the project by the Username. At the highest point, a first programmatic bay emerges that links the urban situation outside the plot and the new intervention, with uses such as restaurant services, cafeteria, and gym. From this level, the next level can be accessed externally through comfortable ramps or internally to the extensive garage through the common areas of this first building. At the next level, at the level of the river walk, the entire programmatic package referring to aquatic activity is installed: a building line is created that adheres to the land and, in addition to housing uses of changing rooms, toilets and administration areas and control, they are intended as support for the insertion of 3 public pools designed as the axis of the project, where two of them would be used for more domestic use, the third being a pool with measures suitable for the practice of competitions, with tiers designed for such events. Finally, a series of floating pools are created at the river level, which are accessed through pontoons, offering a new habit within the whole of the intervention. . Thus, in addition to contributing to alleviate the absence of public swimming pools, it provides a new aquatic and programmatic experience in an area, in addition, where the need for a new arrangement in the entire environment near the Plaza de Weapons.

DSCN6175 Plaza_José_Luis_Vila_(8) 1 DSCN6175 1/9 CULTURAL CENTER SAN LUIS, SEVILLA Due to its historical metamorphosis, the prestigious neighborhood of San Luis, close to the Old Town of the city, proposes a territorial analysis that, after an extensive collection of data and deficiencies, provides us with clues about a type of intervention that pursues a clear purpose: provide the area with a recognized neighborhood awareness and, ultimately, an identity. To this end, the type of public that visits the area and how often in a one-day interval, as well as the busiest places and the roads leading to these milestones, is studied from the beginning, detecting the following deficiencies: . Absence of a clear route: the plot of the area, common in Seville, does not reveal a clear and bearable pedestrian walkway, but rather an accumulation of narrow streets and squares with no activity whatsoever. Lack of activity: there are several areas in the Plaza José Luis Vila that, due to their situation and conditions, it is hard to believe that their use is so scarce. Lack of a central element as a nucleus that gives the neighborhood its name: most of the consolidated neighborhoods start from this concept: they have some building or urban void that, either due to its history or the importance of its use, gives a clear identity to the neighborhood. . Thus, an urban intervention on a neighborhood scale is proposed with the generation of activity and travel as the objective. For this, the activity catalysts are designed, a kind of container formed by a light ventilated glass envelope that would contain the program demanded by the group of users of the place where it is placed, since they will be easily removable and ephemeral structures, as they would change. of place from time to time depending on the activities demanded. . As the origin of the new route, a civic center is proposed in the central plot of the neighborhood as a great hybrid that generates activity and that gives the area a hitherto unknown neighborhood identity. The building is thought from the idea of how to generate presence in the neighborhood without building so much surface for it. A ventilated translucent glass envelope is then proposed that keeps inside rooms subject to some light "boxes" that seem to fly inside the surrounding surface. With this, it is possible to design very effective comfortable spaces in order to experience the hot climate of Seville and also generate a new concept as the identity of the neighborhood. The program is made up of classrooms, offices and administration rooms, public stands to contemplate performances that take place in the outer green square on removable stages and on the screen held by a huge mirror that helps to create a pleasant green atmosphere as an outlet for the layout. nearby road. It also has exhibition rooms and ceramic workshops. In short, the generation of activities that propose an active and busy route originating in a civic center in the core of the neighborhood are the main objectives to which the intervention responds.

CSB Fachada 1 WhatsApp Image 2019-11-10 at 21.59 CSB Fachada 1/26 NEW HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER PUEBLA DE LA CALZADA , BADAJOZ This project has established a program of needs that corresponds to the objectives and needs of the promoter, considering these objectives and needs from an organic, functional, formal, material and technological point of view, to adapt the most suitable solutions to the program proposed by the developer and the characteristics of the site and its location, as well as the purposes for which the building is to be used. . In the first approaches to the site, we find the problem of the entry convergence to different uses. Therefore, it was necessary to improve, structure and organize the different entrances through our building. In addition, a barrier had been created in the nursery that restricted a use that needs permeability and extension into outer space. So we decided to organize the building around a central community space where the various possibilities of the users are connected. . Its geometry responds to three rectangular pieces, arranged around a patio. All uses are directed to this space of relationship conceived as a place of community. In such a way that the patio is framed on three of its sides by the building and in the fourth, the permeable enclosure is arranged that will allow the outer space of the nursery to expand. The building is closed to the street, creating a facade. The access to the building frames and creates a gesture of approach to the interior space. . We configure a transparent interior facade. To avoid possible problems due to the weather, we have a lattice enclosure that filters the light that reaches the premises. With the different projected spaces, we try to facilitate the interior-exterior transition, the coming and going of the different users and citizens, the entrance and exit through the patio and corridors, facilitating communication and meeting. . Taking into account the previous considerations, the program of needs of the work object of this project, will consist of the following general sections: conference room, cabinets, training rooms and spaces for associations, wet centers, information point and facilities . . . .

  • Infraestructura San Telmo, Sevilla, 2013 | APT Arquitectos

1 (15) DSCF0013 22 1 (15) 1/10 CULTURAL INFRASTRUCTURE SAN TELMO BRIDGE, SEVILLE Historically, the city of Seville, due to its fluvial nature, has always fled from the flooding of the river. For this, infrastructures such as the Triana shoe or the walls of Seville have been built, which try to raise the level of the city to a safer point. However, in the 20th century, on the occasion of the 1992 Expo, many improvements were made in the city, including closing the living channel that crossed the center. It is currently a controlled basin, but it seems that once the river is controlled, the city turns its back on it. Some interventions are carried out to improve the edges with the adaptation and treatment of some walks, but due to the high elevation of these, there is hardly any contact with the sheet of water, where one of the most popular areas of the river becomes important: the area around Plaza de Armas, where the contact with the sheet of water is greater. . The intervention focuses on an infrastructure that tries to bring the river closer to the city again and to generate new spaces on its banks. To do this, a seam of the three most important levels of the city is proposed: city level, river walk level and river level, through inhabited platforms that can supply the needs and deficiencies of the shore as activity and use on the sheet of water, where these platforms can acquire different forms, uses and adaptations, depending on their location and levels to which it adheres, providing the river with activity throughout its journey in contact with the level of the city. The relationship with the San Telmo bridge occurs through an approach of our proposal, producing a minimum contact in which both constructions are independent of each other, so that if the project is no longer necessary for the city, the transformation of the bridge has been minimal. Contact with the river walk is made by changing the pavement from the walkway to the wooden floor of the project. . Therefore, it is possible to endow the river with a new programmatic reality through an infrastructure conceived and formally thought of as a new sculpture of the city, also suggesting a path of action for other cities. . . . . .

  • Vivienda Unifamiliar, Machado 51, Puebla | APT Arquitectos

3 2 14 3 1/15 SINGLE FAMILY HOME PUEBLA DE LA CALZADA, BADAJOZ Being aware of the demographic and territorial growth of Puebla de la Calzada, and looking at the town in its northern area, the union with the town of Montijo is made through a building typological piece where, in the near future, its development will make the The union between these localities and any area that belongs to this nexus will be especially important due to its location. This premise serves as a guide for the creation of the next home. . The building is initially located in a set of plots between dividing walls, a fact that will define and mark its morphology a lot, being a challenge to generate an unusual and, at the same time, pure facade, since its inclusion is important at the time of being formally welcomed by the rest of the neighborhood. . Thus, the house consists of a ground floor that houses daytime uses with total permeability, where the living-dining room, kitchen, and bathrooms are crossed avoiding the glimpse of the limit between these spaces, in order to reach the backyard that is created as the end point of the tour of the house, as its openness formally connects with the rest of the house. On the upper floor, the access through slender visible stairs leads to a distributor where a large hole with overhead light allows us to connect directly with the ground floor and indirectly with the outside. Spacious and comfortable exterior bedrooms fit perfectly into a home where intense activity is expected from users, where these spaces are created in order to be used as both day and night rest spaces and, at the same time, as offices for areas of work or teaching activity. . An intangible element that helps to organize the route of the house when experiencing it daily takes on special importance in the design: light. As soon as the house is accessed, the overhead light hole that crosses the hall on the upper floor and falls on the living room - dining room, gives kindness and clarity to a space that requires sensitivity and tranquility for its enjoyment, serving as well as midpoint on the way to the backyard, general light point for the house itself. On the other hand, the generous window in the main room fills the staircase with natural light which, together with its slenderness and elegance, guide the user towards a permeability that makes the rest of the home comfortable. . The building-outdoor patio connection is perceived from a completely open ground floor where the living room, dining room and kitchen appear in a barrier-free complex and provides the user with visual permeability and, therefore, a sense of formal freedom inside the house. . Already in the patio, its dimensions offer great versatility for multiple acts or activities. . In short, the property is thought from the feeling of freedom and spaciousness that are seen as necessary and mandatory due to the initial situation between medianreas from which it starts, since these side barriers are usually an impediment since they eliminate facades and reduce light to the house, an intangible element that, precisely, emerges as the organizing element of the work.

  • PORTFOLIO | APT Arquitectos

PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO I began my journey on the architectural path in 2010, specifically at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Seville where I would study the fullness of my career until its end in 2016, years during which my enthusiasm for creative currents in general grew, encompassing different artistic disciplines. My affinity with architecture and art in general was the cause of a continuous process of introspection and concerns about the fact of formalizing and making real what is intelligible by the mind, during which it has been molded through the work of multiple professionals, not necessarily architects, but somehow related to that discipline. I conceive, then, that architecture must be born from a multidisciplinary compendium of thoughts and reflections, its essence being the depth and ability that may exist in oneself at the moment of giving life to said ideas. I am an architect especially attracted by the intangible that architectural design entails: the atmosphere created by the spaces in a project are the soul of the project as well as a faithful reflection of the architect's work. In addition to architecture, my tendencies extend towards painting, encompassing various drawing techniques, as well as graphic design, music, reading and photography, the creative current in general being the one that gives life and drives my work.
